Scottish Government third sector funding allocations: FOI release

Information request and response under the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002.

Information requested

You asked for details of Scottish Government funding to a list of organisations, with a breakdown by fiscal year.

Response

I enclose a copy of the information you requested.

Some of the information you have requested is available from the Scottish Government website. While for this request, no organisation has solely had payments of over £25,000, the Scottish Government publishes monthly details of all individual payments made which are over £25,000. Details of these reports can be found at Government spend over £25,000: monthly and annual reports - gov.scot .

Under section 25(1) of FOISA, we do not have to give you information which is already reasonably accessible to you.

If, however, you do not have internet access to obtain this information from the website(s) listed, then please contact me again and I will send you a paper copy.

In order to answer your request, I have pulled information from the Scottish Government's central accounting system, and its predecessor, in order to identify all payments made to the listed organisations. Organisations may also receive funding from the Scottish Government via aggregated managed funds, and in these cases, the payments would be listed on our systems as  aggregated payments to the fund managers, not the individual organisations. Therefore these payments are not included in the figures released below.

In the time period requested the Scottish Government has directly paid the organisations listed the following amounts.
