Information about suppliers tendering for the research which the Scottish Government commissioned in 2024 to test the u-value assumptions used by the calculation methodologies approved by the Scottish Ministers for generating EPCs (procurement reference NOV493805, Validation of RdSAP U-calculation methodology for traditional stone walls).

Was it just BRE that tendered for the work?

Response

There were two suppliers who tendered for the procurement of NOV493805 (Validation of RdSAP Ucalculation methodology for traditional stone walls).

Building Research Establishment Ltd emerged as the preferred supplier.
