Information requested

How many members of the NHS pension scheme (1995) transferred to the 2008 scheme at the point of the first choice exercise and how many transferred from 1995 to 2008 scheme at the point of Choice 2?

Response

There are in total 4930 members who chose to transfer from the 1995 section of the NHS scheme to the 2008 section.

During the Choice 1 exercise in 2009/10, 2262 members chose to transfer and during the Choice 2 exercise in 2015/16, 2668 members chose to transfer.
