Information requested
1. For each minister, a list of government supplied electronic devices. This should include but not be limited to iPads, laptops, or phones.
2. For each ministerial government device, confirmation as to whether each has the following apps or software installed.

- Telegram
- Discord
- Microsoft Teams
- Yammer
- Google Chat
- Google Hangout

1. For each minister, a list of government supplied electronic devices. This should include but not be limited to iPads, laptops, or phones.
Scottish Ministers are offered a mobile phone and laptop device on appointment, additional devices may be provided based on business need or reasonable adjustment including for example tablets, mobile broadband (Mi-Fi), and other IT peripherals.
Based on our records, a list is below of Scottish Government supplied laptop, tablets, mobile phones as per your request with the addition of mobile broadband (Mi-Fi) devices. If additional ‘electronic device’ types are needed, we would suggest narrowing any future request by making it clear exactly what type of equipment you are seeking due to the broad nature of the term ‘electronic device’.

All Scottish Government laptops have the Microsoft Teams application installed by default. This provides access to both Teams and Viva Engage (formerly Yammer) functionality. Ministers are unable to install any of the other software listed on their laptops.
