Meetings to discuss impact of Storm Babet: EIR release

Information requested

Please can you help with the following. Regarding the Scottish Government's level of preparedness for Storm Babet on Thursday October 19 and 20.

  1. Did any resilience function of the Scottish Government, for example SGoRR, meet to consider the impact of Babet following the issue of a red weather warning for the east coast on these days? On which dates if so?
  2. For each such meeting, may I ask for the names or positions of those attending.
  3. For each such meeting, may I ask for copies of the Minutes of the meeting.

Response

In response to your request, I can inform you that the Scottish Government Resilience Room (SGoRR) met in relation to Storm Babet on 19 and 20 October. The list of attendees and minutes of the meetings held by SGoRR are attached in Annex A.

As is Scottish Government practice, details and names of staff below the level of Senior Civil Servant, Director, Deputy Director and Special Adviser have been removed under Environmental Information (Scotland) Regulations (EIRs) exception(s) – regulation 11(2) (personal data).
