The Chair of the Third Sector Network: FOI release

Information request and response under the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002

Information requested

“There is one representative of people with lived experience on the Pain Management Task Force, the chair of Third Sector Network”.

This is an organisation unfamiliar to our group - do you mean the UK end, or Scotland? For clarity, can you name the person/ or state which other organisations or charity they may be with? I think that under the usual protocols of not naming junior people, seniors and a chair may be named, as others are?”

Response

The answer to your question is Dr Martin Dunbar is the Chair of the Third Sector Network.

The Third Sector Network has been established to provide third sector engagement with Scottish NHS Boards and the Scottish Government to build sustainability in commissioning and co-ordinating community based support for people with chronic pain. This forms part of the new governance structure created to implement the Framework for Pain Management Service Delivery in Scotland.
