Fishing VMS data for the following ICES Rectangle 41F2 for the period of January 2022 – December 2022 (inclusive):
Please could speed and nationality information be included as a minimum. Any other vessel information you could provide would be much appreciated.

I attach a copy of most of the information you requested.
While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance we are unable to provide some of the information you have requested because an exception under regulation 11(2) – third party personal data, of the EIRs applies to that information. The reason why that exception applies is explained in the Annex to this letter.
As part of our response, we are releasing the redacted data held for ICES Rectangle 41F2. However, please be advised that this ICES Rectangle is not located within the Scottish marine area. Whilst the Scottish Government holds some VMS data on this occasion, we would suggest you also approach the Marine Management Organisation (“MMO”), to request VMS data for this specific ICES Rectangle.
