I attach a copy of most of the information you requested in the format you asked for.

This is a formal notice under section 17(1) of FOISA that the Scottish Government does not have the information you have requested. While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance the Scottish Government does not have some of the information you have requested. This is because details of external professional or occupational bodies that individuals are members of, is not held or gathered centrally.

• Please also note that the pay scale data provided is the most up to date published information;
• There are 3 separate worksheets - each covering the 3 separate Directorates requested;
• The term contingent worker is used for a member of staff who is not employed in a permanent capacity with Scottish Government - payment will vary depending on nature of the role and unique skills and experience of the individual and so is unable to be included;
• We have included the addition of Division title column in the spreadsheet to help breakdown the organisation structure further for you in some more detail;
• And finally the term "reporting senior officer" has been used to describe the most senior person that a particular post reports too.
