Information requested
Broken down by year since its existence;
- The number of Scottish Government employees employed via the Care Leaver Internship.
- The number of those employees who went on to secure a permanent contact after completion of the internship.

I enclose all of the information you requested.
The answer to your question is:
In 2020 the Scottish Government employed 3 Interns via the Care Leaver Internship Scheme, 2 of the Interns were made permanent.
In 2021 the Scottish Government employed 13 Interns via the Care Leaver Internship Scheme, thus far, 7 of the Interns have been made permanent and one has had their fixed term contract extended.
In 2022 the Scottish Government employed 15 Interns via the Care Leaver Internship Scheme, and, as these Interns are still within the first 12 months of their Internship, none of them have been made permanent as of yet.
