Information requested

1. The details of the Scottish Government Resilience Room Meeting that took place on 20 October 2022 regarding the broadband/phone outage on Shetland. Please include attendees, any minutes of the meeting, how long the meeting lasted and who chaired the meeting.

2. Every Scottish Government Resilience Room Meeting that has taken place in 2022 so far including the reason for the meeting, the attendees, any minutes of the meeting, how long the meeting lasted and who chaired the meeting.

Response

I attach a copy of most of the information you requested (Appendices 1 to 25).

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance the Scottish Government does not have some of the information you have requested. Where attendee lists are missing, it may be that they have not been put together where time may have been a factor or may not have been downloaded from Teams where they will only sit for 7 day before being deleted by the system.

As is the Scottish Government practice, details and names of staff below the level of Senior Civil Servant, Director, Deputy Director and Special Adviser have been removed under exemption 38(1)(b) of FOI(S)A.
