Whether the £74 million outlined for the new National Facility for Women in the Infrastructure Investment Plan 2021-22 to 2025-26 was the total projected budget for HMP Cornton Vale at the time of publication across all financial years (inclusive of any projected VAT costs)?

Response

Yes, £74 million was the total projected budget across all financial years for the new National Facility for Women, which has since publication of the Infrastructure Investment Plan been named HMP YOI Stirling, and will replace HMP YOI Cornton Vale.
