Information requested

"The average speed camera’s in operation during the road works on the M74 junct. 6, as well as the camera’s on the top of the pillar, there are black boxes situated further down. What are these boxes and what data are they gathering?"

Response

The black boxes referred to are Infra Red lighting modules for the average speed cameras to allow night time photography and do not record any data.
