Information requested
"I am writing this email to request the number of road traffic collisions that have encountered on the A711 road between Dumfries and Dalbeattie over a 36month period. The section of the road that I am interested in is between the beeswing caravan park and the kirkgunzeon straight on the double āsā bend. There are concerns with the camber of the road particularly when wet causing vehicles to leave the road."
Response
The table below summarises recent injury road accidents on the stretch of the A711 road that I believe matches your description. This table covers a stretch of road extending approximately 500m south from the Beeswing caravan park.
The most recent data we hold is for 2021, as data for 2022 is still being collected and compiled. There were no injury accidents reported on this stretch of road in 2020 or 2021.
