Response

The answer to your question is:

1) Gas and electric for Bute House are procured via the Scottish Government national public sector framework. Details of the current suppliers can be found here: Scottish Government frameworks and contracts - gov.scot (www.gov.scot)

Previous suppliers were:-

Electricity
EDF were the Supplier for the Electricity framework from 2013 to 2019 and won the tender exercise of the current framework from 2019 to 2024.

Natural Gas
Total Energies Gas & Power were the Supplier for the Natural Gas framework from 2014 to 2020 and won the tender exercise of the current framework from 2020 to 2024. There is a 12 month extension available to 2025.

The frameworks do not generate an energy ‘tariff’, as this would normally include a standing charge which is variable, as its site specific.
