Response

In relation to membership fees Scottish Government has paid to Stonewall I refer you to the following previous Freedom of Information request previously published: Membership information between Scottish Government and Stonewall Scotland: FOI release - gov.scot (www.gov.scot). Since this FOI release, we have made a further payment of £3,000 to cover membership into 2023, taking the total to £27,000.

Most of the information you have requested in relation to funding for Stonewall Scotland is available from other previous Freedom of Information Requests, for example: for the years 2015-2021, details of funding provided can be found here: Funding of Stonewall or any associated subsidiary by Scottish Government: FOI release - gov.scot (www.gov.scot). Furthermore details of funding for 2021-2024 can be found here: Equality and Human Rights Fund: projects funded - gov.scot (www.gov.scot) Under
section 25(1) of FOISA, we do not have to give you information which is already reasonably accessible to you. If, however, you do not have internet access to obtain this information from the website(s) listed, then please contact me again and I will send you a paper copy.

Prior to 2015, our records show that from 2012-2015, £250,000 were provided to Stonewall Scotland in the form of grants. Please see attached details of the payments. We do not have records for any funding prior to 2012.
