The following information:

As of 7 September 2021, has the Scottish Government developed and submitted a joint proposal to take forward a Rural Visa pilot.
If not, can you please provide an update on this?

Response

The answer to your first and second questions is that the proposal to take forward a Rural Visa Pilot has been developed by the Scottish Government in collaboration with local authorities and key business sector partners. After the appointment of the new Prime Minister and once the relevant Home Office ministers are confirmed or reconfirmed in post, the Scottish Government will be in a position to submit this proposal to the UK Government.
