Trunk Road SOS Phones: FOI release
Information request and response under the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002.
Information requested
An up to date list of all the Emergency SOS phones on roads within Scotland, if not can you point me in the direction of where I can obtain this information?
The information I require is,
- Name of road
- SOS phone unique ID
- Location (eastings/northings)
Ideally I would like this information on an Excel spreadsheet.
Response
Please see Annex A to this response for a copy of an up to date list of emergency phones on the trunk road and motorway network. Transport Scotland does not have some of the information you have asked for because we do not hold records of emergency phones on local roads. You may wish to contact each of the relevant Local Authorities who may be able to help you further.
