Information requested

"As [the free bikes scheme] was launched in August 2021, by the Scottish Government, which was to run for a year as a pilot, with Transport Scotland assessing it's effectiveness can you advise has the work begun on this and if so when will your findings be made public".

Response

The initial 12 month pilot programme concludes on 17 August 2022. We have commissioned Research Scotland to conduct a full evaluation of the programme, work on which has commenced. We expect to receive Research Scotland's report in October 2022. The report will be made available to the public however we have not yet set a date for publication.
