Regarding the Gypsy/Traveller Accommodation Fund:

2. How much of it has been allocated to local authorities?

3. How much has been applied for or received by Local Authorities?

Response

Question 1: We do not have a figure for the amount spent on the administration of the Gypsy/Traveller Accommodation Fund. It is managed within the Gypsy/Traveller and Residential Mobile Homes Policy Team as part of their wider work.

Questions 2 and 3: The answers to these questions are set out in the table below. Round 1 of the Fund is providing funding for demonstration projects in the years 2021-22 and 2022-23. These projects are now in progress. Payments are made in arrears, based on completed work. Round 2 is for funding available in the years 2023-24 and 2024-5.Proposals for Round 2 have been received and the selection process is in progress.
