Information regarding the Edinburgh Tram Inquiry: FOI release

For the following information in respect of Edinburgh Tram Inquiry office space at SG's Victoria Quay building :

a) what has been the annual cost of providing this accommodation for each year since the Tram Inquiry started using space at Victoria Quay?

b) is this cost part of the recently announced £500k provided to the Tram Inquiry?

c) please provide a table showing how the number of offices (and sqm) used by the Tram Inquiry has fluctuated since the Tram Inquiry started using space at Victoria Quay

d) please provide a table showing how the number building access passes allocated to the Tram Inquiry has fluctuated since the Tram Inquiry started using space at Victoria Quay

Response

The answer to your question is:
a) the annual cost of providing this accommodation for each year since the Tram Inquiry started using space at Victoria Quay is £12k.

b) This is part of the recently announced £500k provided to the Tram Inquiry.

c) the number of offices (and sqm) used by the Tram Inquiry has not fluctuated since the Tram Inquiry started using space at Victoria Quay.

d) While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance the Scottish Government does not have the information you have requested for a table showing how the number building access passes allocated to the Tram Inquiry has fluctuated since the Tram Inquiry started using space at Victoria Quay. The reasons why we don't have the information are explained below. The Scottish Government does not have the information you have asked for because it is an internal matter for the Edinburgh Tram Inquiry. This is a formal notice under section 17(1) of FOISA that the Scottish does not have the information you have requested.
