1. Details of the 26 properties taking part in the pilot scheme and how they were granted access over others?

2. Details of the £241,000 spent on surveys last year?

3. Details of the 100 additional High Rise units to be invited into the survey programme in 2023 and how they are to be given access?

4. Details on the 80 unique blocks that submitted an expression of interest last year?

Response

1. Details of the 26 properties taking part in the pilot scheme and how they were granted access over others?
The 26 buildings within the pilot include 1 in Aberdeen, 1 in Dundee, 8 in Edinburgh and 16 in Glasgow. Building owners were invited to submit an ‘Expression of Interest’ (EOI) to participate in the pilot phase, and to submit evidence of a fire and/or cladding risk assessments. From 123 complete applications, 26 high priority buildings were selected by a panel of specialist fire risk assessors. Building information associated with these 26 high priority buildings cannot be disclosed due to the privacy notice agreed with homeowners.

3. Details of the 100 additional High Rise units to be invited into the survey programme in 2023 and how they are to be given access
As noted in question 1, building owners were invited to submit an ‘Expression of Interest’ (EoI) to participate in the pilot phase, 123 complete applications were received, 26 were selected for the initial phase of the pilot, the remaining buildings are to be brought into the Single Building Assessment programme. These buildings will be contacted in the near future and offered support from Scottish Government to directly procure contracts for the delivery of Single Building Assessments.
 

4. Details on the 80 unique blocks that submitted an expression of interest last year?
Building information associated with these all expression of interest buildings cannot be disclosed due to the privacy notice agreed with homeowners.
