Information request and response under the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002.
Information requested
An updated dataset of prison opioid substitution treatments at 3 March 2022 – your request was based on an original dataset released as part of FOI reference: FOI/202100230158 and available at gov.scot/publications. As part of your original request you also asked for further information on the following statement:
'Buvidal* - For the Buvidal figures we need these currently receiving treatment as there may be no depots administered on the day of the snapshot as Buvidal is not a daily treatment’
Response
In response to your request for clarification on this statement, I have concluded that the case handler provided you with an appropriate response in their reply of 30 March 2022 (Ref: 202200284849).
I have also concluded that the case handler did not provide you with the appropriate dataset as requested. The information requested is not routinely captured by the Scottish Government and I apologise that the original response to your request did not explain this. I have however provided with this response the latest available dataset showing the prison opioid substitution treatments at 16 February 2022.
