There were in the main five FTE staff involved in producing the Equality Outcomes and Mainstreaming Reports (2019 and 2021) for the period covered by your request. The cost of producing the Equality Outcomes and Mainstreaming Report including research, drafting, proof reading communications etc amounts to approximately £21,470 every two years.
In terms of internal benefits of producing these reports, they are used to measure and to inform thinking as to the Scottish Government’s, and relevant agencies, approach to and compliance with the requirements of The Equality Act 2010 (Specific Duties) (Scotland) Regulations 2012 (as amended).
