Information requested
1. The location of every overseas office the Scottish Government intend to open during the 2022-23 financial year?
2. The operating budget for each of these office during the 2022-23 financial year, as well as the operating budget for each existing overseas office for the 2022-23 financial year.
Response
The Scottish Government is opening a new international office in Copenhagen this Spring.
As outlined in the Programme for Government, we also plan to open an office in Warsaw over the lifetime of this Parliament.
The operating budgets for all international offices for 2022/2023 are as detailed below.
Beijing - £567,000
Berlin - £572,000
Brussels - £2,467,000
Copenhagen - £598,000
Dublin - £593,000
Washington - £794,000
Ottawa - £634,000
Paris - £659,000
London - £2,180,000
