Please may you tell me if Transport Scotland owns or uses any CCTV equipment manufactured by Hikvision (Hangzhou Hikvision Digital Technology Co., Ltd)?

Response

Transport Scotland do own and use a number of CCTV cameras and equipment located across the Scottish motorway and trunk road network. These are maintained and operated on Transport Scotland's behalf by our contracted Traffic Scotland service providers. We have checked with our Traffic Scotland service providers and they have confirmed that we do not own or operate any CCTV equipment manufactured by Hikvision.
