Response
1.a please can details be provided of the future FLS peatland restoration projects in Argyll and Bute.
There are currently no confirmed plans for the specific area of Argyll and Bute. However, Forestry and Land Scotland are currently scoping projects in this area including two in Cowal, one in Inverliever, and one at Beinn Ghuilean.
2.a please can a copy of the current conditions and the conditions for the projects commencing in financial year 2022/2023 be provided.
The current terms and conditions are found here (copy is attached). https://www.nature.scot/guidance-funding-applicants-standard-terms-and-conditions-funding.
It is also worth noting that Forestry and Land Scotland is a trusted Scottish Government Delivery Partner, and as such receives funding directly from the Scottish Government. FLS does not apply for funding from Peatland Action. This means some of the terms and conditions do not obviously apply but those that are appropriate and relevant do apply.
