Information requested

All internal and external correspondence within and sent or received by the Scottish Government including attached documents, meeting handouts, memos, briefings to ministers, attendee lists, location of meeting, notes, minutes, or OneNote memos, linked to the following meetings:

1a) Kate Forbes' meeting with BAE Systems on 22/06/21.
1b) Nicola Sturgeon and Angus Robertson's meeting with Michael Gove and the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster on 27/08/21

Response

1a) I enclose a copy of the material you have requested. While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance certain information has been redacted under multiple sections of FOISA. Further information regarding these sections can be found in the Annex of this letter.

1b) While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, some of the information you have requested is available at Cabinet Secretary for the Constitution, External Affairs and Culture correspondence: FOI release - gov.scot (www.gov.scot). Under section 25(1) of FOISA, we do not have to give you information which is already reasonably accessible to you. If, however, you do not have internet access to obtain this information from the website listed, then please contact me again and I will send you a paper copy. We do endeavour to provide information whenever possible. However, in this instance, if the information you request did exist or was held by us, an exemption under section 28 of FOISA would apply to that information and under section 18(1) of FOISA we are refusing your request.
