1. How many active public charging points there are on the Isle of Mull and Iona, the address at which they’re registered, and when they were installed?

2. How many previously active charging points on the Isle of Mull and Iona, as well as when they were removed?

3. The amount of energy that each public charging point uses, by month?

4. How many private business electric vehicle charging points are on the Isle of Mull and Iona?

5. How many domestic electric vehicle charging points are on the Isle of Mull and Iona?

I attach a copy of the information for points 1, 2 and 3 in the excel document attached but have summarised the Mull & Iona charge points below;

To summarise points 1, 2 & 3
6 active chargers on Mull and Iona.
1 charger is not active on Mull and Iona.
4 chargers removed from the network - may still be physically in place.

Total Sessions for 2021 - 1,391.
Total kWh Delivered 2021 - 21,835.84.

  • Mull 22 domestic charge points.
  • Iona 0 domestic charge points.

You asked for this information to be broken down by Scotgov datazone, unfortunately we are unable to do this for the following reasons - all information is recorded by postcode and due to the low number of installs, and the relatively few postcodes, it would be easy to identify an individual as having had funding from TS and this would breach GDPR regulations.

Please note - Domestic and Business charges are funded through Energy Saving Trust on behalf of Transport Scotland and the Scottish Government. Local Authority charge points are funded through Transport Scotland LAIP (Local Authority Installation Programme) grant.
