Information request and response under the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002

Information requested

Details in correspondence between the Scottish Government and/or Transport Scotland, including the First Minister's office, and Prestwick Airport, including the below boards, over the personal role of Stewart Adams in a) the airport sale process and b) his resignation as a director of Prestwick Aviation Holdings and TS Prestwick Holdco in August 2021.

I attach a copy of some of the information you requested in Annex A.

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance we are unable to provide some of the information you have requested because an exemption under section s.38(1)(b) (personal information) of FOISA applies to that information as it contains either personal information or information that could be used to identify an individual. Some other text has been redacted as this is out with the scope of your request.

This exemption is not subject to the 'public interest test', so we are not required to consider if the public interest in disclosing the information outweighs the public interest in applying the exemption.
