Information requested

How much of the £4.5 million cashback incentive to help people install renewable systems in their homes, made available in November 2020, was claimed by householders, and how much has already been granted or made available.

Response

The £4.5 million budget was available to applicants up until the end of the financial year, 31 March 2021. Within this time £3,126,121 was approved for payment to applicants.

As at December 2021, £2,127,105 has been claimed and paid to applicants and £999,016 has been committed, but yet to be drawn down by applicants.
