Information requested
1) All internal correspondence between the Scottish Government and Ernst & Young LLP around the Just Transition Review of the Scottish Energy Sector awarded to the firm earlier this year.
2) All copies of the contract, specification of work, agreement, or further details about the work being undertaken by Ernst & Young LLP under this contract.
Response
While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance we are unable to provide some of the information you have requested because exemptions under section 38(1)(b) – third party data; section 33(1)(b) – substantial prejudice to commercial interests; and section 29(1)(a) – development of Government policy, applies to that information. The reasons for the application of these exemptions are explained in Annex A to this letter.
The information that we are able to provide is included in Annex B to this letter.
