Information requested

Information relating to the SME Liquidity Fund loan agreement for Kapital Residential Ltd. In particular:

i) Whether the security against Greenfield House has been discharged by the Scottish Government; and

ii) How the loan could be secured against a property which Kapital Residential Ltd does not now own.

Response

The answer to your questions are:

i) Yes, the Scottish Government has discharged the security against Greenfield House

ii) After the first repayment towards the loan was received on the 23rd August 2021 a valuation report confirmed that the value of Lunden Links Hotel was sufficient enough as an asset to act as security against the loan.
