"The amount of expenditure that the Scottish Government has spent during the pandemic on media advertising, be that television, radio, printed press including postal leaflets and online to advise the public about Covid 19 and vaccinations.”

We have provided links below to the Scottish Government published marketing spend for financial years 2019/20 and 2020/21. These documents detail where spend was related to Covid-19 and vaccinations.

The total media advertising spend on activity relating to about Covid-19 and vaccinations for this financial year 2021/22 to date (1 April 2021 to 30 November 2021) is:

The marketing spend figures above cover expenditure on media advertising, including TV, radio and digital. However the cost of posting out information, including leaflets, is not included. The cost of the three national door drop deliveries that have taken place during the pandemic total £1,655,986.
