Information requested

1. The total costs incurred by Historic Environment Scotland from 2014 to the present day. This includes all secretariat staffing costs, daily board member fees and expenses, events, publications and office-running costs.

2. A record of all engagement between board members and Scottish Government ministers and Cabinet Secretaries from 2014 to the present day.

Please note that Historic Environment Scotland was established on 1 October 2015 as a result of the merger between Historic Scotland, a government agency, with the Royal Commission on the Ancient and Historic Monuments of Scotland, an executive non-departmental public body.

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance the Scottish Government does not have some of the information you have requested. Total costs for 2020-21 are due to be laid before parliament on 22 November 2021 and the costs for 2021-2022 will be published as part of the regular annual cycle and will be published on the Historic Environment Scotland webpage in due course.
