Information request and response under the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002

Information requested

1. The total costs incurred by Creative Scotland from 2014 to the present day. This includes all secretariat staffing costs, daily board member fees and expenses, events, publications and office-running costs.

2. A record of all engagement between board members and Scottish Government ministers and Cabinet Secretaries from 2014 to the present day.


Attached is a copy of most of the information you requested concerning the total costs of Creative Scotland in the attached document.

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance the Scottish Government does not have some of the information you have requested. Total costs for 2021-2022 will be published as part of the regular annual cycle and will be published on the Creative Scotland webpage in due course.

Also attached is a document containing a list of the ministerial engagement between board members and Scottish Government ministers and Cabinet Secretaries from 2014 to 4 October 2021 as per your request.
