Information requested

Information on any request by the Scottish Government to the UK Government to devolve powers to them to deal with the drugs deaths problem in Scotland and any requests to deal with the drugs deaths problem by way of a health emergency (between 1st January 2015 to 10th August 2021). 

Response

We have interpreted this request to include correspondence sent to the UK Government and also events (such as debates or statements) in the Scottish Parliament were these issues have come up, and also wider events.

Attached is a copy of some of the information you requested which relates to correspondence sent by the Scottish Government to Ministers in the UK Government.

Under section 25(1) of FOISA, we do not have to give you information which is already reasonably accessible to you, however, below is a list of dates where these issues were raised in Parliament:
