Response
The attached Annex will provide you with the information regarding the quality assurance process in use by each council where information was provided.
The information contained within the national report is the professional view of HM Inspectors based on discussion with a range of stakeholders including local authority staff, secondary headteachers and/or SQA co-ordinators, secondary teachers and representatives from professional associations. HM Inspectors also reviewed any written documentation submitted by local authorities.
