Information requested

I would like to know how much funding, per annum, the Scottish Government is providing to The Daily Mile Foundation (Charity number: 1166911) in direct financial payments and benefit in kind payments via office space or administrative support to The Daily Mile Foundation's activities in Scotland.

Response

The Scottish Government has funded the Daily Mile Foundation a total of £100,000. This was paid £50,000 per annum in 2020/21 and 2021/22 for the Programme Manager post for The Daily Mile in Scotland. The post is to help deliver on the Scottish Government’s ambition of becoming the first Daily Mile Nation. The strategy can be viewed here: PowerPoint Presentation (thedailymile.co.uk).
