Information requested
1. Whether this additional £10 million in funding was outlined in the spending in the Scottish Government budget 2021-22, whether in Police Central Government spending, Scottish Police Authority spending, the 'Recover, Renew, Transform' Programme or another area. If it was, please outline the budget it was included in.
2. If this additional £10 million was not included in the initial Scottish Government budget document, please state what section of the budget it will now be included in. For example, would it come under capital spending in Police Central Government etc.
Response
The answer to your question is that the Scottish Police Authority has been provided with an additional £10 million (capital) in 2020-21 to invest in modernising the police fleet.
