Information pertaining to the Mobility and Access Committee for Scotland (MACS): FOI release

Information requested

Information relating to the Mobility and Access Committee for Scotland (MACS) inbound network service contracts, call centre contracts and website traffic spend and analysis.

Response

 1 & 2 -There is no contact/call centre associated with MACS and no contract with any external communication agent. All inbound correspondence for MACS is sent via email (MACS@gov.scot) or post to our Victoria Quay office in Edinburgh. This correspondence is handled and processed by the MACS secretariat.

 3a  - The MACS webpage receives an average of 200 page views (visits) per month.

 3b - The MACS webpage is hosted and maintained by the Digital Communications Team within Transport Scotland.

 3c - The Transport Scotland website as a whole does have a search bar, this encompasses the MACS webpage but is not unique to the MACS webpage.

Transport Scotland use the Umbraco content management system.

Transport Scotland do not gather data on the percentage usage of the search bar.

Storm ID Limited provide website design and maintenance services to Transport Scotland, which includes provision of the Umbraco content management system which incorporates the site search.

Additional Requested Information:
1. You asked for the supplier name for each ‘contract’. As stated above MACS do not have any external suppliers/contracts. Their correspondence and website are both managed by Transport Scotland staff.
2. You asked for the average annual spend for each supplier. There is no supplier/contract therefore no annual spend.
3. You asked who the senior officer is for contracts. As stated, MACS do not have any contracts, however as mentioned all correspondence is handled internally by the Accessible Travel Team at Transport Scotland, who act as the MACS Sponsor Team.
