Information requested

1. How many missed payments there has been by people in Debt Payment Programmes on a month by month basis between the 1st of January 2020 and the first of January 2021.

2. How many payments have been made by people in Debt Payment Programmes on a month by month basis between the 1st of January 2020 and the 1st of January 2021.

I attach a copy of all the information you requested, detailed below and attached in the Excel spreadsheet.

The number of missed payments and the expected amount repaid through Debt Payment Programmes under the Debt Arrangement Scheme for the calendar year 2020 is shown in the following table. Information is shown on a calendar month basis and based on the scheduled payment date.

Also, the number of payments made and the total amount repaid through Debt Payment Programmes under the Debt Arrangement Scheme for the calendar year 2020 is shown in the same table. Information is shown on a calendar month basis and based on the actual (not scheduled) payment date.

Please note that the figures below may be influenced by:

• Approved applications for payment breaks, short-term financial crisis payment breaks, and adjustments to the total (remaining) debt level or alterations to the frequency of payments.

Note that all scheduled payments for any corresponding payment break or short-term financial crisis payment break period are excluded from the schedule and therefore from the table below.

• A few missed payments may be included in the table below for some Debt Payment Programmes that are ahead of the payment schedule.
