Response
The answer to your question is that as part of the work being undertook for the Misogyny and Criminal Justice in Scotland Working Group, the Scottish Government have agreed, in principle, that Baroness Helena Kennedy QC will receive a daily rate of £1000. It is anticipated that time spent by Baroness Kennedy QC will equate to 2-3 days per month, for up to 12 months or less.
Members or advisors of the group will not be remunerated, other than necessary travel and accommodation expenses which will be met by the Scottish Government. We expect that travel and accommodation costs will be minimal, if any, whilst travel restrictions are in place.
