Response

1. The number of applications received for a) grants and b) interest free loans under the scheme.
There were 2 applications to the Zoo Fund for grant assistance prior to the closure date for applications of 11 December 2020. No applications for interest free loans were received. The Zoo Fund has been reopened and will consider applications received by the new closure date of 10 March 2021.

There has been one successful and one unsuccessful grant application to the Zoo Fund.

The successful grant applicant was awarded £79,008.

4. The minimum loan paid out.
No loans have been requested or provided from the Zoo Fund.

The successful grant applicant was awarded £79,008.

No loans have been requested or provided from the Zoo Fund.

7. The number of decisions appealed or disputed.
There has been no formal appeal from the unsuccessful applicant for a grant. There was some correspondence with that applicant regarding the Fund’s criteria.
