The amount of monies that was allocated to rights based advocacy services.
The answer to your question is that the total amount of monies allocated to rights based advocacy services differs across Health and Social Care Partnerships. 17 million was allocated to NHS Boards for onward delegation to integration authorities. Details of total amounts allocated is available from https://www.gov.scot/publications/local-improvement-fund-allocations/.
Under section 25(1) of FOISA, we do not have to give you information which is already reasonably accessible to you. If, however, you do not have internet access to obtain this information from the website(s) listed, then please contact me again and I will send you a paper copy.
Of the 31 Health and Social Care Partnerships, 14 advised Scottish Government that they would be investing money in the development of Advocacy Services. Details of Health and Social Care Partnership investment can be found in Annex A.
While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance the Scottish Government does not have details in relation to a dedicated advocacy service being established. However, you may wish to contact Local Alcohol and Drug Partnership Co-ordinators who may be able to help you. Contact details can be found https://www.gov.scot/publications/alcohol-and-drug-partnershipscontacts/.
The reasons why we don’t have the information are explained in Annex B.
