Information requested
You asked how much money in total has the Government paid in relation to association with 'investors in people' membership.
1. From first joining to date
2. From 2016 to 2020
Response
I have taken your request to mean how much money has been paid by the Scottish Government to be accredited with the Investors in People Standards.
The Scottish Government has been accredited with Investors in People since 1996. Our current financial records system holds information dating back to 2012. I have outlined below how much money the Scottish Government has paid to take part in the Investors in People and Investors in Young People accreditation schemes between 2012 - 2020. Investors in Young People began in 2015, meaning that the financial information for 2015 onwards covers the costs of both Investors in People and Investors in Young People accreditation.
I am in the process of accessing our archived financial system, which holds data 2001- 2012. I will come back to you as soon as we have managed to extract the relevant information from this system.
Any information before 2001 was held in a now defunct finance system. This system has been decommissioned meaning we can no longer access any data within it.
This means that we do not hold all the data relating to the first part of your question relating to how much money in total has been paid since 1996 to the present date.
