Information requested

1. The total number of Debt Payment Programmes proposed and approved by money advice service provider for the period the 5th April 2019 until the 4th April 2020.

2. The total number of Debt Payment Programmes proposed and approved by money advice service provider for the period the 4th November 2019 until today.

Attached is a copy of all the information you requested, detailed below. Note that while all the information requested is available, for some parts of your
request there will be differences in time period requested.

The provisional October 2020 data (covering the period 01 October 2020 to 21 October 2020) is currently being prepared as part of the Scottish Statutory Debt Solutions Statistics: October 2020 report. This report will be published on Wednesday 11 November 2020, and further detailed statistics (subject to data availability and disclosure check control) will be available on request afterwards. Hence, under section 27(1) of FOISA we do not have to provide information which is already planned to be released.

Hence, data for your second request is based on between 04 November 2019 and 30 September 2020.

1. The number of Debt Payment Programmes (DPPs) approved by money adviser in the period 05 April 2019 to 04 April 2020 is shown in the following table. Information is based on the approved date for the DPP.
