Information requested
Who paid for all additional hours worked by all our extremely hardworking and brave NHS during the Covid-19 lockdown.
Response
The COVID-19 pandemic is having an unprecedented impact on those working in our NHS, and we are hugely grateful for the extraordinary hard work, dedication, skill and commitment of all those working in NHS Scotland during this emergency.
The Scottish Government has confirmed additional funding of £1.1 billion to support Scotland’s health and social care sector in its response to coronavirus (COVID-19) pressures. The funding will be allocated to NHS Boards and Health and Social Care Partnerships across Scotland to help them meet COVID-19 related costs such as increased staffing levels.
