Students receiving financial support from SAAS at Glasgow Kelvin College: FOI review

Information requested

Your initial request asked for the number of students in receipt of financial support from SAAS, for academic years 2015-2016 to present, whose institution of study is or was the institution known as West George College/ Kelvingrove College. Upon review, it appears to have been a misinterpretation of your original request whereby we understood West George College/ Kelvingrove College to be previous names of Glasgow Kelvin College. I apologise for the inconvenience that this may have caused.

Response

We have re-checked our systems and can confirm that from session 2015-16 to present, SAAS funded a total of 5 students at West George College/ Kelvingrove College. Those students were all funded in the 2015-16 academic year. Our records show that a small number of other students applied for funding but did not receive any support from SAAS.
