Response

Transport Scotland have no contracts for firewall services. However, we do have arrangements for anti-virus software and volume licensing, and I will address each of your specific questions in relation to these contracts in turn.

Anti-virus

2. Annual Spend: £302.19 ex VAT;
3. Service Description: AVG Internet Security Business Edition - 20 licences;
4. Primary Brand: AVG;

7. Duration: 2 years;

Volume Licensing
1. Supplier: Microsoft through Softcat (UK);
2. Annual Spend: £2928.39 ex VAT in Financial Year 2019/20;
3. Service Description: Microsoft Select Plus;
4. Primary Brand: N/A;
5. Expiry Date: In perpetuity for Microsoft. Onus to purchase licences through Softcat (UK) is covered by a framework contract explained at https://www.gov.scot/publications/software-value-added-re-seller-framework/
6. Start Date: 7/3/19;
7. Duration: In perpetuity;
8. Responsible Officer: - ICT Manager - 0141 272 - @transport.gov.scot;
9. No of Licences: In the last financial year, we have purchased: 10 x Windows Remote Desktop Services Client Access licences; 1 x Office 2019 Standard licence; 1 x Windows 10 Pro licence; 3 x Azure cloud subscriptions
