Information requested

You asked for details of the number of persons who have been tried, successfully or otherwise, and/or convicted of offences covered by the Protection of Badgers Act 1992 as amended by the Wildlife and Natural Environment (Scotland) Act 2011.

Response

We are able to provide the information that you have requested, covering the period from 2008-09 and 2017-18, in the attached table.

We do not hold any information on proceedings and convictions made under the Protection of Badgers Act 1992 prior to these dates.
